For 43 years, Ballet Arkansas has been a pillar of the Arkansas arts community, providing essential creative services that bring joy and enrichment to tens of thousands per year. The Pointe to the Future Resiliency Fund was created to support the long-term sustainability of our organization while strengthening our infrastructure, revitalizing our programming, and creating the seed of an endowment. Your contribution advances Ballet Arkansas, ensuring it remains the preeminent professional dance organization in the region. Help us reach our capital campaign goal of $450,000 to support the mission and activities of Ballet Arkansas.
The Pointe to the Future Resiliency Fund was created in response to the unprecedented challenges posed to our operations by the pandemic and the resulting economic crisis. Funds raised will help insulate our critical infrastructure and ensure the activities and artists of Ballet Arkansas continue to play a meaningful role in communities throughout the state. The fund revitalizes our operations in 3 key areas (Work, Workplace, Workers) so we may carry on to provide culturally enriching programs and services as we adapt to a changing landscape for the performing arts. A peer-to-peer fundraising initiative has been launched to activate the community in the organization's fundraising efforts and to broaden the scope of our appeal. Anyone can join the team, make a difference, and further the success of our campaign. We'll give supporters of the tools they need to make an impact, and to raise funds in support of our mission and vision for the future. Over the last 43 years, Ballet Arkansas has touched the lives of nearly 300,000 Arkansans. Join us by making a donation or becoming a fundraiser today, and together we'll ensure Ballet Arkansas will continue to contribute to the cultural ecosystem of our state for years to come.
EDUCATION & COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Champion education programs that heighten scholastic achievement and nurture creative self-exploration in thousands of students each year. Continue to enhance nationally recognized dance training programs that provide Arkansans with the tools necessary to gain employment in the dance and theatre industries. Support community outreach initiatives with our partners in healthcare and social services, making the arts accessible to every Arkansan.
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Maintain our current workforce of 18 professional dancers and staff and support their numerous contributions to the cultural ecosystem of Little Rock and of Arkansas. Enhance our operations so our dancers may continue to rehearse, perform, and educate the public safely when in the presence of new and ever-changing variables. Support the transition to an upgraded rehearsal and training facility, commensurate to the size and scale of our operations and equipped to deliver a broad array of education programs and performances to children and adults of diverse backgrounds
WORLD - CLASS PROGRAMMING
Ensure that communities across Arkansas and throughout the region have access to world-class professional dance performances. Make it possible for Ballet Arkansas to provide sensory-adapted, interactive, and therapeutic programming to audiences with specific needs.
